“Making learning meaningful and accessible through creative and effective solutions energizes me! ”
Hailing from the Central Coast of California with a stint (Well, almost nine years, but who’s counting?) for schooling at Texas A&M University where she earned three degrees in animal science. Nessie has most recently landed in Chattanooga, Tennessee. And that’s not even most of her travels; she’s been to all 50 U.S. states and 33 countries!
Nessie’s work has taken her all over the world with some big name organizations tapping into her genius: facilitating learning experiences for the National FFA Organization, co-redesigning the entire (and currently implemented!) undergraduate animal science curriculum at Texas A&M, College Station as well as research through the United Nations in Rome, Italy.
All her professional accolades aside, Nessie’s personal approach to work is what makes her a pivotal member of our team. With unbridled enthusiasm for brainstorming, quick-thinking collaborations, and problem solving (with a heavy dose of comedic timing), she helps everyone feel comfortable showing up as they are.
Nessie has an insatiable need to go, to explore, and to learn about people and places of the world. With street food in her hands, a backpack ready to go, and hiking shoes on her feet — she’s set.
