A former Speech-Language Pathologist, Megan Schmidt grew up in Garden City, Kansas. She’s still a proud K-Stater, where she was a member of Alpha Delta Pi Sorority and pursued her undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She currently resides in Wamego, Kansas, with her husband, Barry, and three kids Blaine, Clara and Samuel.

Megan’s strong interpersonal skills made her a top-notch Speech-Language Pathologist. Her ability to quickly develop a deep understanding of others is crucial in finding solutions that work for her clients. Her positivity helps keep spirits high through the tough growth that leads to long term success.

Megan believes strongly in the power of nature to the development of curious minds. She’s also passionate about nourishing the body with good food and exercise to help improve every aspect of life. Her kids are now passionate explorers and love taking their friends to enjoy the lake, parks and forests around their home!

Nine years ago, Megan signed off social media and hasn’t missed it since. Megan and Barry pass the time at the lake, watching the kids’ sporting events and watching K-State sports. She’s an active member of her church and squeezes in time helping at her kids’ school whenever possible. Megan also loves Christmas. A lot. As soon as the weather cools down, the Christmas music comes on and the tree goes up. The cheesier the Hallmark movie the better, and the tree doesn’t come down until February.
