Vivayic Talent:

Jessica Travis

Learning Designer

“There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to how people learn, so I love the challenge of thinking through the client’s goals in order to create unique, customized learning solutions.”

Find a way. When Jessica was hired to establish a biotechnology program, she walked into a classroom with few resources: no textbooks, no desks, and a few boxes of lab equipment. Determined to create a top-notch program, Jess connected with experts at Epcot and flew to California for a visit with a biotechnology curriculum author. Within two years, she had established a relevant and successful biotech program, had a functioning lab, greenhouse, and an advisory board full of expertise. During her teaching days, she was also an FFA chapter adviser. This experience gave Jess a chance to help students discover their passions, show off their hard work, and grow into competent young leaders.

Jess brings the same mentality to client projects. Because she cares deeply about her work and the people she works with, she aims for perfection and does what it takes to get it. Her science background has not gone to waste as she works with some of our largest agriculture clients designing training materials for employees and customers.

A native of Miami, Jess has traded the big city for the smaller community of New Smyrna Beach, Florida where she lives with her husband Derek and their two children. Whenever possible, they take advantage of the tropical weather by foot or boat. When she’s not playing with her boys or hanging out at theme parks, you’ll often find her baking treats or making jewelry for friends and family.
