Heidi Stallman holds a B.S. degree in biology from the University of Missouri, an M.S. in Animal Ecology from Iowa State University, and a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Missouri. She has worked as a scientist, researcher, college instructor, actress, and tutor before joining Vivayic. She is an accomplished storyteller and author and is represented by Jabberwocky Literary Agency for her work in children’s literature. She and her twin sons, Aidan and Cameron, live in her hometown of Columbia, Missouri.

As a science geek and writer at heart, Heidi translates difficult scientific and technical concepts into widely accessible language. She clarifies client and learner needs, tuning her projects to learning objectives. Heidi’s teams have dubbed her as “the closer” because of her ability to take good projects and turn them into greatness.

Heidi has extensive experience creating deep, story-rich learning experiences. She designed the curriculum for an online master’s degree program for the World Bank. At Wolters Kluwer, she designed curriculum and created digital learning solutions for their master’s degree course in nursing research. Heidi has also curated content and wrote courses for the Centers for Disease Control Division of HIV prevention.

Aside from applying her razor-sharp critical thinking skills, Heidi enjoys gardening, hiking and a competitive pickleball match. She is passionate about personal development, climate change mitigation and fostering kittens and senior dogs. If you ever visit, don’t be surprised if you’re greeted with a cup of hot tea and milk.
