Vivayic Talent:

Blaze Currie

Account Manager

“When you can see that spark of a new concept or shift in mindset from a learner – it is the best feeling. I am always excited when I can help develop experiences designed to shift perspectives, open doors, and encourage learners to reimagine what is possible.”

Hailing originally from a cotton and watermelon farm in Texas, Blaze received his B.S. in Agricultural Leadership from Texas A&M University and his M.S. in Agricultural Education from the University of Illinois. Today, he and his wife, Caroline, live in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Blaze spent a decade working with the National FFA Organization developing and delivering leadership programs. He also helped start the international agricultural development non-profit, AgriCorps, and spent several years living and working in West Africa.

He’s an excellent coach and great at connecting strategy and people. He is known for his ability to see the big picture. Blaze is adept at untangling the complex web of personalities, preferences, and problems to help stakeholders find the best way forward where everyone wins. This has made him an asset to a number of nonprofit boards over the years.

Blaze grew up in a family of storytellers and carries on that tradition. Blaze and Caroline enjoy taking their mini-Aussie named Rosie on walks around the neighborhood. More often than not, they end up at the local brewery. Within their neighborhood, he and Caroline host an annual Memorial Day Croquet tournament, and it’s pretty dang awesome.
