Our major projects over the past year include:

Revision of standards and competencies for SkillsUSA national championships – Led teams of industry representatives in revision of standards and competencies for the 81 SkillsUSA championships as part of a partnership with SkillsUSA through a W.K. Kellogg Foundation grant.

Meta-analysis of States’ Career Clusters knowledge and skill statements – Conducted a meta-analysis of the existing Career Cluster statements using metrics designed to measure the depth-of-knowledge and alignment with formatting standards.

Design of 75 hours of on-line courseware for career skill development for PTLU – Conducted knowledge and skill analysis of content areas to be taught, created course knowledge infrastructure including objectives and course content and designed storyboards and learning environment elements used by programming team to develop online courses.

Facilitation of strategic planning event for NASDCTEc board of directors – Led executive leadership in strategic planning session resulting in a clear action plan for optimization of the organization’s key strategic priority areas. Provided ongoing technical support and follow–up with organization leadership to monitor progress during implementation of the strategic plan.

Project management for implementation of SkillsUSA grants to vulnerable communities – Managed process of designing program outcomes and parameters, developed applicant RFP, assisted in screening and selecting local grant applicants, and assisting selected communities in implementing the SkillsUSA program of work.

Instructional design support for multiple e–learning projects managed by ABG, Inc. – Provided instructional design expertise in developing and delivering course objectives, instructional media plans and course storyboards. Design scenario-based training modules used for strategic planning in fortune 500 companies.
